How do I cancel my DIRECTV Account?

To fully cancel your DIRECTV service, you will need to contact both Smartaira and DIRECTV, as each company manages different parts of your service.


Step 1: Contact Smartaira

Please contact Smartaira to ensure your account is properly updated and any related services are reviewed.

  • Log into your Smartaira Portal and submit a Support Ticket
  • Email us at support@smartaira.com
  • Call us at (310) 974-8776

Step 2: Contact DIRECTV

You will also need to contact DIRECTV directly to cancel your TV service. Please use the number that corresponds to your account type:

  • Legacy Accounts (7 or 8-digit account number): (866) 258-8766
  • BAN Accounts (9-digit account number): (866) 595-0077

DIRECTV will handle the cancellation of your television services and any related billing.


Important Information

  • Smartaira cannot cancel DIRECTV services on your behalf
  • You must contact DIRECTV directly to complete the cancellation
  • Do not return DIRECTV equipment to Smartaira
    • DIRECTV will provide instructions for returning their equipment
